Northern California elected officials and community leaders come together for Jerry

Today, I released a large list of elected officials and community leaders from across the 11th District and Northern California who have come together to endorse my re-election campaign.

Here are what some of those leaders and officials had to say:

“Jerry has made caring for our veterans his top priority, and veterans throughout the district and the country are better off because of his service.  His work to expand the Veterans’ Administration facility in French Camp and his willingness to work across the aisle shows true leadership and dedication to the veterans of San Joaquin County and beyond.” - Victor Mow, San Joaquin County Supervisor

“Jerry is committed to serving all of his constituents with integrity and respect, and meets with residents every weekend to hear their concerns and answer their questions.   He’s worked hard to address the issues of importance to Morgan Hill, including getting the stalled Llagas Creek Flood Protection Project moving again that will provide protection to homes, business and agricultural land.  When he says he’ll do something, he follows through.” - Steve Tate, Morgan Hill Mayor

“I know I can count on Congressman McNerney to listen to what we need so we can all better serve our citizens.  Situated right at the intersection of I-580 and I-680, two major Bay Area freeways, transportation is a big challenge here in Dublin.  Jerry jumped right in to help solve the problems and successfully found federal support for a major Bus Rapid Transit project that will take cars off our clogged roads.” - Janet Lockhart, Dublin Mayor

“Jerry knows what our communities need to thrive, and he works to make sure we have the resources we need. His ability to push through the partisan nature of Washington to bring results back home is commendable. Jerry secured our new emergency communications systems so our communities across the region stay in contact during a disaster. From writing key legislation to help our veterans, to listening to his constituents about gas prices, to serving them honorably in Washington, Jerry is our guy.” - Newell Arnerich, Danville Vice-Mayor

"I'm impressed with Jerry's commitment to spend as much time in the district as possible.  He's here in San Joaquin County all the time and understands not only some of the biggest challenges facing our region but also how to address them.  He's introduced legislation to combat gang crime, crack down on meth use and delivered on funding for local police departments." - Lucian Neely, Former Stockton Police Chief.

I’m humbled to have each of them by my side as we continue our work together to bring real results home.
