Urgent – Get Jerry on the ballot

We are kicking off Jerry McNerney's one year anniversary in Congress by reaching out to citizens throughout our region and asking them to pledge their early support for his 2008 re-election efforts.

In order for Jerry to qualify for June's ballot, we need to collect as many signatures as possible. The power of people coming together rocketed Jerry into the House in 2006. We will need that power to keep this seat and affect the real change America needs.

While completing Jerry's petition request only takes a couple minutes, the message it sends about the strength of our grassroots efforts is important. Please encourage family members, friends, neighbors and co-workers to pledge their support by signing the petition, as well.

With Jerry flying back to our district from DC each weekend, hosting Congress at Your Corner sessions, meeting with his advisory boards, and hosting workshops and forums on issues that are important to our region, a new standard for congressional representation within our district has been set. It is said in the Holy scriptures that all authority is given of God and upon meeting Congressman McNerney several times I felt this over whelming feeling that he was ordained by Divine Providence. We call them congressmen the scripture says he is a Prince ordained in his position by God. This is my belief. Congressman McNerney is helping the people in general. Believe me his workshops work and they help the community as a whole. He helps Veterans and civilians in the general populace in over coming many hardships. If ever we need his talents and place in Congess it is now and keeping him in office. Forget about the smear campaign that is being waged against him. It is not true and really shows the lengths and deceit that some will go to to smear and honorable man. Vote For Congressman McNerney and our country will change for the better and he will help get us back on track. Take a look around you and see the mess we are in, Housing, health, and many other problems and this man can help correct these problems. God is with him and he has my vote. Mark L.
